An all time gem
The story of little bear who can’t sleep because it’s ‘still too dark’ captured my heart. Soothing stories, nice repetition in the text and wonderful ways to fall asleep as a child (I speak from experience). So definitely a book I would recommend

Wonderful Dutch book
It’s in Dutch but when you are able to read that this is an absolute gem. Poems that are calming for children in combination with wonderful illustrations.

Wonderful book!
The pig in the pond is a lovely story that makes you smile. The illustrations are wonderful so I would fully recommend it. My parents used to read it to me when I was little and I just remember how I loved it.
