Not much good for Christmas in the UK...
These little trees are sturdy, a good size and look really pretty as they change colour. I 'planted' a forest of 13 of them on the front lawn over Christmas and whilst they were very festive in all honesty they are not much good at this time of year as they rely on sunshine to charge the batteries.
Bit of an epic fail really to have Christmas trees needing hours of sunshine to work, during the very shortest days of the year in the UK...
Would probably be fabulous in Australia or NZ over the festive period.
I ended up buying 26 better-quality rechargeable batteries and changing them over every 2-3 days. Not ideal, not the end of the world but can really only give them 3 stars as a result.

Great value and quality for a complete package
This is by far the best package for the price, of a hanging parasol, a suitable base and a cover, that I have found on the internet this summer. I am so delighted with it and have received several compliments from neighbours and friends.
It is always a bit of a gamble buying online but this time the gamble definitely paid off!
