Harriet is an old friend

I have read this book literally over 100 times and still get something out of it, even as old as I am now. The book isn't necessarily for everyone (like her second book definitely is not), but it is truly my favorite book of all time. I read my way through five or six copies and I'm not one who treats books shabbily. They just started falling apart from all the reading. I'm glad the original pictures are back in the book (the new one is just wrong). If you've seen the movie, you absolutely MUST read the book, as you will have greater insight into Harriet and her world (and Ole Golly looks NOTHING like Rosie O'Donnell).

Glenn Miller's BEST!

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this CD. Not only is the music fantabulous, it's actual recordings from his radio show, including commentary, such as when Glenn and his Orchestra received the Gold Record for "Chattanooga Choo-Choo". The most poignant is the last track on the CD. If you are a fan of Big Band music, you'll never go wrong with this one!

GREAT mascara at a great price!

I've always loved the Clinique brand (partly because they don't test on animals - a definite GOOD thing!), but haven't always loved the price. This mascara is one of the best as far as doing what I want it to do with lengthening and thickening my lashes without looking clumpy or gloppy. Not only that, but it's also very kind to my eyes, something I definitely appreciate during allergy season. All in all, something I would definitely buy again!
