Genuine item!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had upgraded/rebuilt my PC, and wanted to install Windows 7, because I still feel it is the best O.S. that Microsoft ever made. Unfortunately getting a genuine useable copy is a "minefield", as the product key must be valid, and must match the installation disk. This key was from a scrapped computer, and the disk was good... it worked perfectly.
After installing the system, I went into "Start/Computer/System Properties/Windows Activation", and activated online, with no problems. Subsequently, I can go to the same page, and see that Windows is activated, and see the product key...Job done!
