Cuts through long grass and tough weeds
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent strimmer for cutting through long grass and weeds. I was sceptical about buying a cordless product thinking it would not be powerful but this strimmer really does cut through scrubland and tall weeds and grass. I use it on a steep bank which has been overgrown for a couple of years. It doesn’t cut through new blackberry stalks very well but tackles everything else. The only downside is the battery lasts for only around 20-25 minutes, but that’s probably due to the thick growth it’s cutting through. The battery doesn’t take long to charge so it is not a problem for me. Be aware that if the product doesn’t specify it comes complete with battery and charger then it does not. The battery and charger are as expensive as the actual strimmer. I would definitely recommend this strimmer for cutting through rough areas and long grass but if you just want to edge a lawn or strim a small well kept area of grass, then you are probably better off buying a cheaper strimmer.
