Necessary Viewing for Necessary Roughness
This was probably one of the most engaging TV series in a long time. Just a real shame that it was cancelled after only three seasons.
It had it all - romance (for me), sport (for my husband), comedy, drama and her analysis of behavioural problems was fascinating.
Great characters and wonderful story lines. Plus the ongoing story arcs kept you waiting to see: will they or won't they? Now that I have it on DVD, I can watch it over and over again. It never grows old or stale.

A good all round self help book
My brother-in-law and his wife were having their first baby and I decided to give them both their own book about raising children. Whilst there were many books for mothers, and several to help fathers navigate the pregnancy months, this was the only one I found (at the time) that was specific for a first time father.
The book covers the most important aspects of being a new father, and as such, provides a constructive guide in this regard. The only downside was that there are many God and biblical references, which my brother-in-law, being an agnostic, found a little 'put-off-ish'. Unfortunately, he was not the part of the target audience, and as a result, just leafed through it, but did not read it.
I would recommend it, with caution.

Great Value For Money 35mm Nikon Lens
Great value-for-money Nikon lens. Love the extra wide aperture to get those fabulous shallow DOF shots whilst still being versatile enough for full focus product shoots.
I love shooting with a prime lens, such as this, as it allows in more light than the longer zoom lenses, allowing me to shoot 1 stop down, and more importantly, hand-held.
