  The cup arrived in tact but the saucer was damaged beyond repair and therefore unusable. I paid a lot less than I expected for the items so was happy just to accept the cup and to use a spare saucer I already had at home. It might have been different if i didn't have a spare saucer and had paid a lot more for it. I contacted the seller and was happy with my communication with her. A shame but not a disaster!
