Hilarious
I had this recommended to me and it was so true to life of that era.
The characters were amazing and well played. Seeing characters that I know from well known soaps and series before they became famous was brilliant. Definitely recommend.

Heart warming
I bought this book in 2015. Thinking I'd read it I passed it on.
I happened to see a review and thought I couldn't have read it as I couldn't remember what it was about.
So I decided to buy myself a new one.
I'm so glad I did as it's a lovely story. I suggest you buy it and enjoy it.

Brilliant
I was a little confused at the start as I hadn't realised that the story was in an earlier time.
I kept wondering why they talked about typing up a report.
Once the brain fog disappeared I really enjoyed the book. It had been a long time since I'd read one of Lynda's Jane Tennyson books.z
