The Droid X
I have a Nexus One, which is an outstanding device. I bought the Droid X because of the larger screen and excellent reviews. I am very pleased with it. It does all that the N1 does and does it well. I do NOT like the hard buttons, however. The soft buttons on the N1 are a much better choice. I was able to upgrade to Froyo with no trouble. A disadvantage of the Droid X is the Motorola lock of the OS. The Cyanogen ROM for the N1 is a vast improvement but at this point, NO cooked ROMs are available for the Droid X. A clear disadvantage. I look forward to a solution to this deficiency.

Excellent device great performance a superior Android device.
I bought the Nexus S because it is fast, compact and has reasonably good battery life. It was also capable of being upgraded to ICS. It has an excellent form factor and is easily carried and sturdy. I own a galaxy nexus one, a superb device and the Nexus S is quite similar. ICS on this phone also performs well. It is very similar to my Atrix 4g but I prefer the form of the Nexus S. I have not connected to a carrier so cannot report in that regard.
