Good connectors
Really they are CDI unit, not ignition coil connectors. Anyway, I just plugged them in and connected the other ends, having (unnecessarily as it turned out) cut some wires connecting the original plug to the unit. It's been working fine for months now.

Good mirrors
I don't like to give anything full marks unless it is truly exceptional, though there is nothing wrong with these. They are perfectly satisfactory. One thing I especially like is that each mirror fixing has one right hand and one left hand thread, which means that both threads screw in at the same time, without having to remove anything (such as the screen) to rotate the mirror.

Good rosin flux
I am not quite sure why it is still amazing that a flux works. Maybe to a cave man? Anyway, it makes a good strong flux when dissolved in isopropyl alcohol. It ensures properly wetted connections and is much more effective than the flux in the cored solder which I use. I also find the fumes much less objectionable than from my cored solder. though there maybe health issues when it is used on an industrial scale.
