Great camera, don't waste your time on the high priced ones.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been using monorail large format cameras for about half a year and this was a big change. However, I figured out how to do most of the movements by myself. It's really easy to take apart to clean (like the lens board, the back, ground glass, bellows). I have not used this as a street camera (which press cameras were used back in the day), but I do use it as my outdoor camera and its ok in weight, but if you are going off the beaten path, this camera packs up really nice with your film holders in a backpack. The lens is a 127mm so it's fairly wide, the one thing I would like to mention, if you plan on getting a new lens make sure you understand that not every lens will be able to stay on the lens board when you shut it, look for lens that is specifically made for this camera and you should be fine. So, overall the camera is really good for its age and I would recommend it to anyone.
