4L Water Distiller

I received this unit via mail about two weeks ago. It works just like the Kenmore unit that I purchased 30 years ago to use while overseas. I find that it is a bit faster in distilling a gallon than my previous unit. I haven't had to do a heavy-duty cleaning yet, but I have tried to wash out the residue that remains after distilling a gallon immediately, before it hardens, yet eventually I will use the cleaner provided. I may purchase another for two of my children who live in Atlanta and who constantly complain about the taste of the water. A word of advice, shake up the water once distilled. Distilled water normally has a good but flat taste unless you shake it up.

Pyrex Red Cover top

What can I say? These are the same as comes with the clear Pyrex containers. I have always had trouble finding a cover when I needed one, so I purchased some extra ones. I use them to cover food in the microwave to catch the splatter, and to store leftovers. I wish I had purchased extra covers before because it was aggravating not to be able to locate one when needed.
