Leather case
It does appear to use real leather rather than pu leather (which should be avoided as it doesn't last). The Kindle fits snugly and opens at the unlock page when the case is opened.

It's worth a try.
Having failed to get consistent results using traditional shellac French polish I tried this. Much happier with the results. It's worth investing in a decent fine haired brush otherwise you'll be plagued with brush hairs pulling out. You need to work fast and there isn't time to be lifting hairs from your newly brushed surface.
