Araldite 400005 - Araldite Rapid Tube 2 x 15ml Epoxy Adhesive - 1st Class Post

Pretty good, but noteasy to use the last drops

Although the "standard" Araldite is supposed to be better I have not had it for many years, because the "rapid" is more convenient and I have never had a bond fail. It is very tough when set, but can be worked if necessary (drilled for instance.) The only con that I can think of is that I have never had a tube that fails to leak at folds (when the tube is folded or rolled up to persuade remaining adhesive to the nozzle end). And it is not easy to clean up the leaks.

Fair price and in good condition for the age.

In view of this battery being to same age as the original in the tablet I expected it to be low capacity. (Li ion and Li polymer calls have a half life of about 5 years, even well looked after. And this hasn't been as it was flat!) When measured (at a five hour rate) it showed 80% capacity, which with that age and state is good. Generallt good but faulty.

The main problem with the motherboard was that it was faulty, in that there was no sound output. But I can live with that, and it is quite common with the chip that Asus use. (plug or unplug the output while the power is on and it will probably fail!) It should have been tested before sale though. Tony...
