quite unique pro quality amateur price
Once you have this it puts a new perspective on your lens collection. it is cheap because it is old and has no is but it is fast and is sharp wide open, it is professional quality with two caveats image stabilisation and weight. as the other pro lenses are also this heavy, it always comes down to is. this is sharp wide open so that is the option to avoid blur, an excellent sports lens as even is does not freeze movement, It was thee pro lens at one time but do not worry about use unless its broken it will perform and a little dust will not effect the I.Q. Super bokeh, super lens but get the hood at the same time and the tripod ring as the Chinese substitute is an inferior design. Lastly this is unique due to not being one of those attention seeking white monsters its a black discreet lens that is not available new.

excellent in the right hamds soft open at 210 but rumored to have an asperical lens so a very good performer read ken rockwell for a proper revue

professionals miniture
niche camera for the professional, its not shirt pocket but allows quality photographs from low light situations, larger format cameras in this class suffer from stick out lenses and more bulk, this has pro potencial, its not ideal, larger format and interchangable lenses would be nice, but thats a different camera and not as compact!
