Airfix 1/144 11170 Apollo Saturn V - Model Kit

Airfix Saturn V model kit

I first made this particular kit in the late 1960's, my abilities were 'weaker' then but the kit was 'crisp' as the materials used at that time were a 'better/higher' quality all round! Today I am far more accomplished (being in my 60's) but 'Airfix' has 'dropped the ball' somewhat! I would describe the materials used today as 'adequate to good' rather than the 'really good' of yesteryear. If you are wanting to re live your childhood memories like me and re build all the kits again there are two options:- pay a lot of money for exactly what you had before by purchasing 'vintage' kits or pay 'less' for the modern equivalent but you may be 'disappointed' sometimes with the results of your endeavors, however for £30 plus postage this particular kit represents excellent value for money and if you want one it is well worth snapping one up at this price rather than paying way over the odds (in this case) for a vintage example.

Pair of Chrome Wiper Blade MG Midget 1972 onwards GWB164 9" Bayonet Fitting

Perfect Fit!

These wipers are just the job, they fit the 1973 MG Midget perfectly and are very easy to install, only takes seconds and being a chrome finish are totally in keeping with this particular vehicle. They represent very good value as they are made to the original 'vintage' specification as far as I can tell and work well.
