1 of 1 found this helpful In 1958 when this film was partially filmed in Snowdonia I was 16 and used to cycle to
watch the filming so it has a personal value to me. That apart, it is based on a real life
story of Gladys Aylward and is a remarkable account of her courage and rescue of many children during the Japanese invasion of China. A film well worth watching.
