Ran too hot to be able to use it
Ran too hot. Intalled a fan to cool it, but there wasn't sufficient space between my slots to accomodate the fan. Ultimately, I couldn't use it because it ran too hot in my Dell T7910 Workstation.

Works, but HP branded components aren’t universally adaptable
I have several of these that all work fine, but the HP branded products like this one doesn’t give options to fully configure the card. Auto configure appears to work, but I can’t make any adjustments to the card. My advice is to avoid HP branded parts, and instead go straight to the LSI/Avago Manufacturer if you want to use this part in a non-HP PC
