13D5A The enigmatic Brimar...

I am using the ecc82 'a like' in my Pultec EQP, output position. The sound is extraordinary! Once the barium islands became more uniform due to age, by cathode reformatting (using the tube..), the risk was well worth it! The sound. Hmnn. - A miller analogy. The 13D5A is to the standard 12au7 as the Telefunken ef86 hi- lumin is to a 'Groove Tube' 6267. The sound is very soulful and engaging. The service with Yitry(?) is excellent. I would recommend this valve as a replacement. Buy TWO!
