Good alternative
An original replacement from Porsche is £120 which comes with the heated plastic mount as well, but if it's just your glass that has cracked then there is no point spending all that money to replace the whole unit. If your glass can be removed without damaging the heated mat, or the glass simply falls out in one piece and shatters into a million pieces (as mine did), this item is ideal. I removed the cheap double sided tape that it came with, degreased all surfaces and then used strips of 3M VHB foam to adhere the mirror to the mount. I left it an hour or so to ensure there was good adhesion and then refitted the unit to the rest of the mirror. A nice saving, which can be spent on a tank of super unleaded and a day's spirited driving!

Cheap and cheerful
I would spend a bit more and go to your Ford dealer. The finish is not clear and glossy like the original and my one arrived with two of the plastic clips snapped off!

Works partially
1 of 1 found this helpful I have an old PS/2 rackmount screen & KVM that I was hoping to use with more modern USB based servers. I already have one Belkin twin PS/2 to USB adapter which works great and allows the KVM's built-in trackpad and keyboard to be used with an old HP Proliant - this works fine and it was just a case of plugging and playing. The Dynamode one only seems to get the mouse/trackpad side working while the keyboard remains unresponsive. I have consigned these to the parts pile and have found a supplier for the more expensive but functional and reliable Belkin unit. You get what you pay for, I guess!
