Spoiled for an 'halfpenneth of tar'
Spoiled for an 'halfpenneth of tar' - in my opinion. There is so much good about this book, content and visually. However for me the feint writing and photographs in pseudo 'sepia' spoiled it for me.
Fujifilm X Series X-E1 16.3MP Digital Camera Body

X-E1 The bargain X series camera
I have the 'nap' hand of Fujifilm-X cameras after moving away from Nikon (except for high speed events - air shows etc). I have an x-100s - the perfect 'street' camera with it's fixed lens. I've two X-Pro-1 bodies (got one thrown in with a couple of lens purchases) and an X-T1 with it's superb EVF finder. However sometimes you want something you can just put a small zoom lens on and take anywhere - something light, like the X-100's with a viewfinder and a choice of lenses. My second -hand X-E1 is brilliant - it's only fault is a lack of weather proofing but it has been out in some bad weather and still performs. It has the same processor as the more expensive X-'s (apart from the X-Pro-2) and with the advent of the X-E2 the techies have unloaded their X-E1's. A superb travel camera and at prices now that won't break the bank.

SHOOT Auto Focus AF Macro Extension Tube Set for Nikon D-SLR AF AF-S DX D33 S9V9
    24 Mar, 2018
    Perfect for the job!
What can you say about extension tubes? They do a job, usually to get ultra close up pics using a standad prime lens (or even a zoom?). They come generally in sets of three of differnt lengths which can be used in combinations or seperately, there are no optics in them so just bits of tube eh? Well they are a bit more complicated than that and these have the connections in them for auto-focussing etc just as the ones from Nikon/Canon/Sone et al would but at a much lower price. Most of us are only going to use them rarely so they'll sit around for ages doing nothing. Buy a good quality product that will do the job and put the money you've saved into a new lens or a present for your partner/spouse. Well worth the wait.
