Great phone providing it does what it says on the tin!
1 of 1 found this helpful I would have given the BT 8500 five stars if it wasn't for the fact that the Call Blocker doesn't work as it should. The issue is that instead of allowing calls in the call list to go through as it should, all calls are blocked. I had the choice of returning the phone for exchange or switching the Call Blocker feature altogether; I chose the latter as I couldn't face the trouble of sending it back. Providing other buyers don't have the same problem I would have no hesitation in recommending the 8500. It looks good, is good value, and has all the features I need; it just has the one downside which, unfortunately was the main reason I chose this model.

"Just the job because it does the job"
I chose this product because I wanted it for garden use, which involves water, and therefore needs good safety features namely the Thermal cut out and the Weatherproof socket covers. It is light and easy to use which is a both good and bad because in use is topples over and gets pulled around easily. There is a question over whether is robust enough but only time will tell. Overall I feel it is a good product, fit for my purpose and not too expensive.
