Perfect simple remote.

Wanted a simple remote for the kitchen TV only. This fits the bill perfectly. What's best is that you don't have to programme it, just put batteries in and carry on.

Stem raiser - better than expected

This is a sturdy bit of kit. With its 2 bolt fixing at the base, it is totally rigid when bolted to the original forks stem. I don't have any faith in the cheap Chinese imports and/or single bolt fixing types, so chose this one. Some stem raisers have spacers for the handlebars to rest on. This one doesn't and in my opinion doesn't require them. I couldn't unfortunately raise the handlebars up to the maximum as the brake and gear cables were not long enough. But even so, the more upright riding position I have achieved, is an absolute joy. 'Happy pedalist'.

Lifan Engine

I was slightly dubious because of the amazing price. But having received the engine (visually impressed) and bolted it into place on my wacker (physically impressed as all the bolt holes are exactly the same as the Honda engine), put oil and petrol in it and ran it up. Very pleased. It's smoother and quieter than the Honda engine was!
