Bad design for cleaning electric lid if you don't want Bacteria growing.
9 of 11 found this helpful I used a damp cloth as per the instructions on the electric lid because there was raw egg on it. However, a tiny bit of water still went into the clear lid where the electrics are. Called up Andrew James but they wouldn't replace the lid. If it doesn't dry somehow (doubtful), I will either try it and electrocute myself or lose £25. Shame as otherwise a good product. Same thing happened with the slicer I bought from them, where there are grooves you can't clean meat off very easily. Good products as I say but not designed for hygienic cleaning and risk of bacteria.
