Totally mad and great fun
A very small lens with big results. Almost impossible to keep both your hands and feet out of the picture. I even got the peak of my hat in one shot.
I've used several fisheye lenses before but this is twice the fun. You can stand just a metre or so away from say a van and the whole thing's in the final picture.
It lets in an enormous amount of light so can be used in virtually any situation.
The downsides are that it does ever so slightly crop the top and bottom of the picture and also the outside of most of my shots have a soft edge with a blue tinge.
It doesn't hurt to crop the whole thing in Photoshop or whatever. It's only a matter of 5 pixels from each side and you get a perfectly sharp circular image. A little underexposed in my case but that's better than overexposed.
All in all you've got to work at it a bit but it's worth it.
