Decent tool, decent value, decent performance.
This jointing tool works on a simple concept, and provides tight joints to frames. It has a good adjustment range, and will, I think, cope with a reasonable range of frame sizes.
The 'V' fixings drive in easily, as the pressure which can be exerted by the handle is more than adequate for this.
Could perhaps be slightly improved if the screw thread of the clamp was metal instead of plastic, although it is a hard plastic and would seem to be of sufficient quality to last well. Seems to be well-made, of good class materials, and does not look or feel 'cheap'.
Whilst it is obviously far short of a professional framer's tool, it is also considerably less costly. If you are starting out on a small scale, or just want to make some frames for yourself, this is an ideal tool to have.
