Universal 6.9mm Durable Fibreglass Tent Pole Section with Ferrule Camping Repair

It seems to work ok, if a heavier section than the 6.9mm section being replaced which made threading quite tricky. Ferrule appears good quality and securely fixed. The packaging (which with postage is quite expensive) might usefully include some simple info on making such a repair and there might be a purchasing option for a threading tool (which other repair packages provide) without which I did struggle. BTW original split pole repaired quite well with 10p worth of two part adhesive which might have been a more economic option for a s/h tent where this replacement section cost about 25% of the tent's value. my choice.
