Rock solid. Needs lubrication.
A rock solid interior door lock and excellent value for money, but a bit dry inside. Use a spray lubricant or open it up carefully and judiciously add a tiny amount of grease or heavy oil.

A diamond in the rough
This is a legacy item by now, so only the lesson applies:
The Sempron carried the stigma of not being quite an Athlon-XP and usefully avoided, but turned out to be a gem:
- Runs cooler, so its heasink is more compact and its CPU fan isn't as noisy.
- Uses PC2700 / DDR333 memory with a 166MHz FSB, so runs quite fast.
The best feature by far is that this little gem accepts "high density" DIMMs, almost unusable elsewhere and more than just that;
The AMD Athlon-XP / Sempron (?) spec sheet derates the memory speed to 166MHz when running 2GB of RAM. But couple this particular CPU with 2GB of DDR400 "high density" RAM and a motherboard that recognizes DDR400 and the combination runs perfectly, with the CPU at 166MHz and the (doubled data-rate) memory bus at 200MHz. So a system using this particular Sempron 2800+ CPU model somehow works better than with the faster Athlon-XP 3000+.
Just goes to show that buying complex items on specification only isn't always best option.
