Beyond stunning
I purchased this exact set from Sam's Club the year it came out (and the only year it was sold) and it is by far the most stunning nativity scene you will ever see, bar none. I've seen designer sets priced at thousands of dollars that aren't a fraction as beautiful as this set is. The clothes are real cloth, exquisitely crafted, and the hand painted figurines are simply stunning. These figurines are quite large, some as tall as 11 inches or so. The donkey and camel are some of my favorite pieces, and the camel's accoutrements are gorgeous with real cloth intricately woven blanket and real tassels. The palm trees have bendable fronds meaning you can shape them exactly as a real tree would be shaped. Every figurine has beautifully designed and sewn clothes, and the shepherd has a soft water pouch and removable staff. If you are not going to store the set in the box after use, make sure the shepherd's staff is stored flat somewhere safe so it doesn't bend or break.
I've had guests marvel at this set every Christmas since it came out, it always turns out to be a show-stopper.
