THE definitive book on the subject.
It is a very complete, well-illustrated book that anyone interested in the JAAF in WWII will find themselves refiring back to over and over again. Along with the Donald Thorpe book on camouflage you will be your own aviation expert.

Solid read, highly recommended.
Wonderful look behind the curtain at the true state of the Soviet space program. I am old enough to have spent time at night laying in a hammock and watching Sputnik go over Long Island.... if we only knew the real state of Soviet rocketry we would have relaxed and enjoyed the show instead of wondering if nukes would be next. Riveting text.
