Big, quiet and simple to install
Bought two. Nothing sexy about a bare drive. SATA3 speed, product was in original electrostatic packaging and sealed. Came right up when installed in my RAID enclosure

If you have Alarm dot com service this is a must!
1 of 1 found this helpful This camera has been a huge improvement over my earlier analog video surveillance cameras. My only concern is that the unit is primarily plastic, so not sure how long-term UV stability or high winds (we have plenty of both here in Colorado), but that might be just me :-)
Note that other reviews may NOT for the V722W, possibly the V721W as it is 720p. The V722W is a 1080p WiFi video streaming camera (DC power to the camera is still required) that is part of the Alarm dot com ecosystem and as such you must have an account with a participating monitoring vendor but the actual operation is still through Alarm dot com. Note that many vendors use the Alarm dot com protocol (even some of the 'biggies') so this camera may work with your system. In addition, you must have an account with video active on it otherwise the camera is useless. Depending upon the package with your monitoring you can have either cloud storage for streaming, or both in-house and cloud storage (with additional streaming video recorder). I had to log into my account in order to activate the video (apparently it doesn't go through the panel itself on my system).

Good 22" monitor for the price
This MW22U was a fantastic monitor for the price when new. Even now that the monitor is no longer made (X2Gen doesn't exist anymore, either) and prices have come down, it's still a good value. Unfortunately for Mac folks like me, Mac OS X doesn't have a color profile so you can't adjust the color balance like you can with other monitors. Maybe the PC folks might still be able to do it. This is my second MW22U, and the first one's a couple of years old and still working fine. Several reports of flickering with DVI input (analog is OK), and my old one does do this on occasion, but turning it off and on fixes that every time. Because X2Gen is gone, you should consider an outside warranty (SquareDeal, etc.) because I'm not sure how easy it'll be to fix and there is no longer a manufacturer around to honor the manufacturer's warranty.
