Untill the K850i the K750i was the choice for me.
1 of 1 found this helpful I had the Sony Ericsson K750i from New purchased from the Orange shop, it never let me down once. It always had a good signal, took some stunning pictures and the mp3 player was up with the best. Sadly the Phone was Stolen and a trip to the local Orange Shop revealed that they were no longer available. I was told that the K550i was the model to replace the K750i so i paid for it there and then. The K550i was just a big let down from the start. It struggled with a good sygnal where the K750i was never without. It`s picture quality was crap compared, and the Mp3 player did not sound as good and the Chrome Blade type buttons were a pain in the Arse for someone with fat fingers pressing two or more at once. This prompted me to search ebay for a mint K750i wich i received and once again enjoyed. Later through a friend getting the K850i as a contract upgrade (i`m on pay as you go) I decided to purchase the K850i. The K850i can be viewed as a K750i upgraded-Superb. I think the only way to improve on the K850i is to introduce a USB Port and a round power plug socket for the charger like say the very good Nokia N95 wich also boast`s a Carl Zeuss Lens. Needless to say - If you have a K750i and it works fine then be very careful of a Upgrade, you may well end up dissapointed with your new phone. Regards, Terry Moore. 2E0ZTM.
