An outstanding addition to the fleet
This is an accurate and detailed sculpt of the "Enterprise" 1707-A. The paint applications are exceptional as well. This was intended by Hallmark to be the final starship ornament with an attached plug-in light cord but they opted instead to make it the first with a battery compartment. Many argue this is more inconvenient for lighting on a Christmas tree as the batteries wear out over time, but I'm a big fan of the cordless design- the starships look much better without a dangling cord from them. I missed this at retail in 2005 and after a long search am glad to have found one new in box at a very good price.
