Smells bad, like self tanner - softens skin though

So, of course like most people, I saw the before and after photos for this product and thought I needed to buy it. I bought this particular version of it and then found a newer version (and bought it). I received this one first. I did as it said, took a hot shower and used a scrubby to prepare my skin. When I applied the product, it didn't feel bad (took a little bit to soak in..but nothing unusual for cream) but I did notice the smell. It smells stinky like self tanner usually does. Because of this, I haven't been using it, since I do have to share the bed with hubby who shouldn't have to sleep next to that smell - I kinda pride myself on being clean and smelling nice..hubby always comments on how much he likes how I smell..so..this is not a good addition to the night time routine. I will say after a couple of days, I received the newer version and it smells also but only faintly, soaks in faster and once dry has no smell. Using the newer version, I can say, my skin does seem smoother and softer, I haven't been using it long enough to claim that it has reduced cellulite or stretch marks...If I can update this down the road, I will.
