FINALLY! One that WORKS!
I have used other crimp tools, including a more expensive one from this company, but this is by far the best one I have ever used. Even my first two crimps came out perfectly. The learning curve on any previous crimp tool took at least 4 or 5 attempts to get a good crimp, and even after that they only were successful in making GOOD crimps less than half the time.

Use with HiZ input on RSP2
1 of 1 found this helpful I am using the high Z input on an SDRplay RSP2 and the built in filters are not in the Hi Z input path. I was getting a LOT of the local Broadcast Radio signals in the 21 Mhz band. I bought this filter to see if it would help and it really did. Not a brick wall but really very good and is exactly what I needed.

Exact Replacement for 33 year old unit
I bought this just for the case since my very old one was broken beyond repair. I knew this unit was not on the same frequency as mine but since I planned to transfer the circuit board in mine, which still worked, it did not matter. This unit arrived over three days before it was promised and I was able to install my circuit board in it in about 15 minutes and it works perfectly. The case was immaculate. Since I don't think these have been made in about three decades that was a pleasant surprise.
On examining the circuit board in this unit I feel sure that, should I want to, I can tune it to the same frequency that mine operates on and the code switches appear to be identical so I may even be able to use it to build a "built in" opener for one of my vehicles.
