Toasts bread perfectly
This toaster does exactly what it should - it toasts bread evenly and for this it gets 5 stars.
However, I gave it 4 stars overall because, as suggested in several reviews, its slots are just that bit too narrow to use for hot cross buns.
I tend to use sourdough or homemade bread which do not have tall slices, so I have no problem with the "vertical" toasting area.
It's good value.

The lip is not strong enough for the pot size
The lip on these pots is not really strong enough. Already I have split three of the lips - admittedly I picked them up with one hand, but they were only half full of compost. The plastic is quite "soft" I don't know what this will mean in the long term for their survival. They aren't as good as my previous purchase, from another source, but maybe you get what you pay for, because they were priced very reasonably
