Francesca Woodman: On Being an Angel (Hardcover), Woodman, France...

Great Introduction to a little known photographer
I really enjoyed seeing more of Francesca Woodman’s photographs & the text was informative. I had only heard about her recently from a review by Waldemar Januszczak of the Tate Liverpool exhibition and was intrigued to find out more. Tragically she died young but had an amazing talent as a photographer. A book to refer back to over the years & Highly Recommended to any one interested in late 1960’s avant-garde photographers.

Incredibly comprehensive book with excellent illustrations but no index!
Incredibly comprehensive book with excellent illustrations. The only downside is the lack of an index - unbelievable considering it's size and importance.

Excellent but organisation of content slightly confusing
Excellent book but I would have preferred it if it included at least a chapter on tiles produced by factory/period. I know there are a lot of overlaps in De Morgan's designs in terms of period i.e. the same design was produced in different periods but I did find the organisation by style type slightly confusing and had to flip backwards and forwards a lot while reading it.
