Cold Steel SRK Survival Rescue Fixed Blade Knife with Secure-Ex Sheath -
    10 Nov, 2022
    Close to ideal
The knife is close to ideal in its category. Comfortable handle - it is precisely because of its thinness that it does not clog the wrist during prolonged use and, thanks to its rubbery feel, provides excellent grip. The blade geometry is optimized for cutting. It is not for hard work - batoning, chopping and all sorts of picking, in this way you will simply break it, more delicate work such as cutting, planing or piercing - that's its purpose. Two things that I would personally like to change, I would have preferred a stainless steel blade, something like Japanese AUS8 or Chinese 8CR13MOV, and a Tek-Lok belt clip instead of a flex hanger, but if it is easy to add a Tek-Lok, then the steel is already what it is. Thouse are personal preferences, someone will prefer the existing configuration. Exceptionally successful sheath (again - excluding flex hanger) nothing worse than kydex, although somewhat rougher - not noisy, thin-profile, quite securely hold the knife and repairable - if the upper part loosens over time as it holds the rubber guard, then it is quite can be lightly squeezed to get the desired shape with a dryer.
Casio 50 Meter WR Chronograph Watch, Alarm, Black Resin, Digital, W217H-1AV

    Casio W217H-1AVCF
I am delighted. Light, comfortable, classic, clear and legible screen - ideal for every day carry. I'm a big fan of the Casio W-741 model, which is unfortunately unavailable or unjustifiably expensive for today. So - these watch is better in all respects, except for the water resistance level changing, which is 50 meters instead of 100. The backlight, the color of the matrix, the size of the digits, the strap - everything is improved. Bravo, Casio!

NEW NITECORE EA45S 1000 LUMENS LED FLASHLIGHT
    16 Oct, 2017
    Very controversial.
This flashlight can be called unique in terms of its properties. On fresh alkaline batteries it works flawlessly, except that the moonlight mode is not one lumen at all, it feels more... much more. On half-empty salt batteries it can begin to work incorrectly. For example, you can not start the stroboscope mode from the moonlight directly, without switching to a higher mode. BUT it works even with such a weak power source, and works pretty good!!! I was primarily interested in its ability to work with such power sources, since examples of working with rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries can easily be found on the Internet. Yes, it's really quite a compact, powerful, durable and smart flashlight on four AA batteries. There are two disadvantages: 1. Some dust and debris under the glass. Which SHOULD NOT BE on a flashlight of this price category. This can be important for perfectionists, but does not bother me very much. Well, you can disassemble and clean it... 2. A really serious CONSTRUCTIVE disadvantage of this light is the attachment of the shank to the body. It is necessary to firmly install the light on a flat surface and begin to twist the shank with TWO HANDS, so as not to break the thread. With one hand you hold the edges of the shank, shaking from side to side and looking for the optimal position, and with the other hand carefully thread the thread into place, being ready to always turn it off a couple of turns and then continue! Keep this thread CONSTANTLY in a greased condition! The extremely poor constructive solution! That's why I consider this light to be constructively unfinished and I can not give to it more than three stars - an excellent idea, realized by junior schoolboy, who do not have a clue about the fundamentals of engineering design. P.S. All that has been said has nothing to do with the seller of the goods, who was a man of integrity, that promptly and accurately fulfilled my order. For which he received from me the highest evaluation.
