Versatile—and lovable!
2 of 2 found this helpful I wanted a radio where I could access progressive talk and news sources from anywhere in the world—a pretty basic function for this radio. I get a lot more on the radio function, too—all genres of music from anywhere to suit my mood at any time of day, for instance. It’s been a great companion during this CoVid self-quarantine. The Squeezebox does so much more than act as a radio; it has functions that I have never delved into. It’s also an attractive and compact little package. I have three of them, placed all over my house, and I have bought three for friends who have fallen in love with them, too. Today I am taking this latest one to an elderly gent in a care home who can’t manage too much on his own any more—he has difficulty with the phone and with his regular radio and can’t operate a TV. I have programmed in 6 stations he will enjoy (opera, classical music, politics) and labeled the buttons. All he has to do is push one button, and he will have whatever listening pleasure he desires!
