Great extractor
In the past I've always gone for cheap and cheerfull shop vacs but having seen a more expensive unit on a site I was working on, I decided it was time pay a bit more attention to dust handling. After a great deal of research I went for the midi ctl. It's design makes it a joy to pack in the van and I have now switched over to makpac cases which will store on top the ctl. The anti static hose stops it getting covered in dust and the extraction is amazing. I can fit it to my Makita tools using a push fit 32mm waste connection. The bags hold a lot of waste and the suction doesn't seem to diminish untill the bag is packed solid. My last vac was a wickes wet and dry under £50, but in my opinion the Festool is well worth the considerable extra even just for the healthier working environment. It quickly packs into a cube and if you pickup the tool set in a size 1 systainer you have a very comprehensive bit of kit in a nicely packed unit.
