GREGORY CORSO---Immortal Cosmo-Naut
What is there not to like? It's brand new--i.e., mint condition. The price was reasonable. And it's more of the cosmic musings of Beat King Gregory Corso. Like I said---What is there not to like?

Mechanical pencil fine---Replacement leads too expensive.
I'm mostly satisfied with the Staedtler HB#2 mechanical pencil itself and how it handles/performs on the page. But I was way less satisfied to discover that the device doesn't accommodate most common brands of 0.7mm replacement lead; it only accepts refills of 250 Mars brand micro carbon leads or 255 leads. This brand is unavailable at the local outlets I tried (Michael's, Staples, Office Depot), and so I had to place a special online order. The item cost a ridiculously overpriced $12.95 for a single package of a dozen replacement leads. I only wish that your product description had included this useful bit of information.

"Acceptable" Does Not Equal "Good" (Condition)
The book's physical condition left much to be desired. Agreed, it's a second hand/pre-owned item, but it could've been in somewhat better shape. The volume is visibly well worn, with slightly crumpled pages showing some noticeable aging. I can't recall what I paid for it, but it's definitely the sort of used book could easily find in a thrift store or at a yard sale where it most likely would've gone for a single dollar or less. Then Again...the contents were fine. (It's a good yarn.)
