Mary Berry improved with age!
This is an early Mary Berry book with a handful of good recipes but it feels very dated

Wonderful sound recording of a magnificent performance.
This is better than being in an opera house! The orchestral sound is rich and open and you can always hear the singers. Most recordings are of live performances and there are always limitations and compromises. I hope I remember correctly that this was a studio recording.
Solti is one of a handful of conductors who can combine control of the vast structure of these works with attention to detail and emotional expression. The singers are mostly wonderful. I have rarely been so delighted with a purchase!
