The excellent build quality of Kuryakyn
Not a cheap option certainly but worth the money. The weight of metal and the thickness of the chroming tells you that this going to do it's job, look good & last.
I bought mine to support a handlebar mounted speedometer, which it does effortlessly. Highly recommended.

Another kettle....
This was kettle number three. We tried some cheaper models and they failed one by one so by the time I decided to pay more to get a better quality machine I was a little jaded to say the least.
However I found this refurbished Sage kettle and made a sensible offer for it which was accepted and duly found a place on our worktop.
I recently purchased two Sage products for espresso and coffee grinding and being impressed with the build quality thought it a reasonable assumption that the kettle would be built to the same standards. I was right. It is and it works, simply, reliably and looks good too.
I've never used a glass kettle before because I was concerned about the effect of the water hardness on the glass in the longer term but I've started filtering my tap water with a jug filter, primarily for the taste, and that seems to take care of that issue.
So, is it worth it? Well, I haven't paid the full retail price for any of my Sage equipment so on that basis they are really good value. I don't think I would stretch to the new asking price, that's too much for me, so, seek out the used and refurbished.

Easy and safe to use - very effective rust remover
Somehow it shouldn't work, but it does...Frost rust remover is so easy to use because you don't worry about spillages or misapplication. The fact that it can be reused just adds to the value.
I used it to treat small rust patches in a motorcycle fuel tank and I'm very happy with the result.
The packaging it arrived in was very robust and thoughtful - inside a sealed plastic bag in case of any accidental damage - highly recommended.
