A cinematic masterpiece
The Lion King (1995) is possibly the best animated picture of all time in my opinion. The animation is phenomenal and, even in 2019, continues to leave me in awe at just how beautiful it is. The hand-painted backgrounds are stunning and the character animation is expressive and smooth.
The story, although not completely original as it borrows aspects from some of Shakespeare’s works as well as the 1965 Japanese animated program ‘Kimba The White Lion’, is still interesting and engaging.
The film had aged well, especially considering it’s now 25 years old! The jokes are still funny and the animation is still some of the best I’ve seen.
Overall, I would recommend this film to any fan of animation.
As for the specific copy I bought, I bought the Special Edition from MusicMagpie for £5. Both discs work fine and it’s all in perfect condition with the original leaflets and all. It arrived within a few days and I have had absolutely no problems.

Good, and just as described!
The product is good, and just as described. There is a small crease across the front of the book, but that's not a problem, the only VERY disappointing thing is the sticky black mark, left by the sticker that contained the price and barcode. I have since removed it but it has left a (not sticky) grey stain which is a disappointment since I collect the books and bought it because my current copy was in bad condition. If you are buying just to read and not collect I would highly recommend this!
