Venom Xbox Series X / S Charging Dock with Rechargeable Battery Pack - White

Single venom Charging dock xbox Series S

First time plugging it in to use, due to having an xbox as a gift. It doesn’t charge my control pad at all. The green light/ red light on the front of the dock doesn’t come on when pad is rested. I bought it Brand new. Having to use a wire to charge my control pad. Also, in the box for my control pad dock it come with battery pack, but none of the other two backings for the battery fit my controller. I did buy the correct dock for my controller. So i wonder what the issue is. But something needs to be done to stop other people buying a product thats faulty.
