Sub standard
Okay. So I bought a dmf to smf kit thinking it needed a flywheel due to rattling. So after removing the box I found that the previous owner had also but a smf kit in the car. The friction plate and bearings were both knackered. So I decided why not change it all, since I had it anyway. I assembled it all and fitted it back. It turns over no problems (as with the kit for a mk4 golf) I've bled the system and its absolutely shit. Rock hard and the bites right at the top. You lift the clutch pedal looking for bite, it judders.
The kit I took out was a kit from tranny parts. And it was so much easier to push in. Another thing worth mentioning is that the flywheel I took off was slightly deeper than the new one.
To sum it up. Don't expect a great deal at low prices.
