Vikings Season One
2 of 2 found this helpful I ordered this with some trepidation as I was looking to fill a "Game of Thrones" vacuum and had not much fancied the look of the key character in the series on watching excerpts. Well how wrong I was on that! Travis Flimmel is absolutely amazing as Ragnor Lothbrok, a historically renowned Viking leader on whom it is loosely based. This is a complex hero who encompasses both extreme violence and extraordinary sensitivity. The series is a somewhat slow burner for the first 2 episodes and the accents take a little getting used to. However you soon forget all about that and become immersed in the violent, yet spiritual and elementally driven world of these Nordic ancestors. It is character driven and they build slowly and realistically, while the most action demanding viewers could not fail to be satisfied with the fighting scenes. Strangely, I found some of the violence more disturbing than Game of Thrones, even though it is usually less horrific. All in all I am completely hooked and now on Season Three. If you like historical drama served with fine acting, and plenty of blood and thunder, you will love it.

Fine detail and extremely durable brushes
I have used these brushes for years in my hand painted furniture business. They had originally to deal with Artists oil paint as well as a mix of Humbrol enamel paint and eggshell. This is rough on brushes but these have always stood up brilliantly . I do fine lettering and lining and no other brush comes close.
