Unusual feature lamp
1 of 1 found this helpful Written sizes don`t always line up with my expectation of things in real life - this lamp was a great surprise, nicely sized and unusual in appearance, in my mind I was expecting it to be notably smaller (as happened with the banana leaf lamp).
I already have 6 other lamps in this style (tulips, banana leaves, pyramid, columnar and circular) and they look great together as they`re designed using similar materials.
The feature point on this particular one is the layered "shell leaves".
UK plug and bulb fitting installed and there is a diffusing shade at the back as well.
I was sick of modern lamps so started getting these which are made somewhere in Bali (iirc) and all of them have been really nice and natural looking due to the materials used.
This uses ONE B22 bulb.
I would have another.

Rust Free Replacement
I bought this as a replacement for a stainless steel type which was going rusty due to the humidity - making stains on the vinyl floor.
This is completely plastic - some kind of PE plastic if i`m not mistaken, ie: not brittle but soft) and is lightweight, easily cleaned and critically - rust-proof !
It has a concave lid which presumably makes any splashes or condensed water fall back into the holder, it could be a random design choice of course by the manufacturer.
Nothing else to say really other than it works without issue.
I am wondering if the actual brush can be replaced, as the Ikea type it has replaced was able to do - they got the brush head in there so naturally it must come out again, so the question is whether Addis supply them - it would be very "un-green" to have to dispose of the whole thing just for the sake of a new brush head, not to mention unneccessarily expensive.
