Steel Battalion and LOC: A unique gaming experience
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the latest--well, relatively--installment of what just has to be one of the most incredible video games ever produced. It's pricey, it has a huge dedicated controller that you really need a place to store--unless you're so addicted you might as well just keep it out--but it's also one of those hallmark games with a coolness factor that can't be beat.
Since it's an older game released for the original Xbox, the graphics are a bit dated compared to those of most games for the Xbox360 (and PS3), but there really isn't anything comparable on the market in terms of total immersion gameplay. Perhaps that's why these games (Steel Battalion and Line of Contact) are still commanding top dollar, despite their age.
You'll need the original Steel Battalion dedicated controller set to play this game. If you purchase a used set, be sure you get the complete controller with all the connection hardware. (It's kind of a pain without those little pieces.)
