Great little pen torch but........
I was delighted with this great little pen torch as it is ideal for my job. Very nice quality feel to it and it came complete with batteries. I used it twice for less than a few seconds each time. When I tried to use it a third time the torch decided it wasn't having any of it and just packed up. I had the torch in total 2 days before it became useless and I have tried new batteries and checked that they were inserted the correct way round but the torch still won't work.
I can't be bothered returning it and going to the post office in town and all the hassle of obtaining a certificate of posting. It would cost me more in parking charges and I simply don't have the time so I've written it off as a bad purchase. By the way the light is a gell light and not a conventional bulb or LED so buyer beware.

Smooth and mellow.
Two nice smooth albums from Billy Ternent and his orchestra. Billy was the muscal director of Sunday Night At The London Palladium for many years and did the orchestral arrangements as well as conducting the orchestra whilst accompanying some of the worlds top artistes who appeared on the show in the 1950's and 60's.
These albums are lovely and mellow and the orchestra does not have strings in either album as Billy has chosen to use a conventional dance band instrumentation of brass,saxes and percussion. The arrangements are lovely and very easy on the ear and the sound of these recordings from Vocalion are excellent.
